Information used by the clubhouse
Vatos Locos Golf Club collects your name, email address, phone number and referring member to create your account and review membership. The site also stores tournament entries, scores, VLG Handicap history, published prizes, account security records and your preferences. Passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
Who can see it
League administrators can access membership contact details to operate the club. Approved members can view member profiles and permitted golf records. Your email, membership phone number and referral are not included in the ordinary member directory. Career winnings can be marked private in your profile; published per-tournament payouts remain visible.
Text alerts and consent
SMS alerts are optional. We record your chosen mobile number, whether you consented, when you made the choice, the form used, and the disclosure you saw. Providing a membership phone number alone is not consent. Existing members are not automatically subscribed.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared for those purposes. Necessary service providers, including hosting providers and Twilio when texting is activated, may process information solely to operate, secure and deliver the service.
Your choices
You can change text preferences or withdraw consent in Text alerts. Once texting launches, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent history may be retained to document your choices and honor opt-outs. For help or to request correction or deletion of account information, email Vatos Locos Golf Club at vlggolf23@gmail.com. Some club and security records may need to be retained.
Service information
Technical providers may process request and security information to host and protect the clubhouse. No system can guarantee absolute security. We will post updates to this policy here with a revised date. See the SMS Terms for details about optional text alerts.
